A British magazine has revealed that Bushra Bibi, wife of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, played a role in influencing important government decisions during his tenure.

According to international news agencies, The Economist published a special report on Bushra Bibi, claiming that Imran Khan’s third marriage raised serious questions not only about his personal life but also about his government’s decision-making.

The report cites sources close to the former prime minister, stating that Bushra Bibi sought to influence key appointments and daily governmental affairs, introducing an element of “spiritual consultation” into official decisions.

Senior journalist Owen Bennett Jones noted in the report that Imran Khan struggled to implement his reform agenda due to the spiritual influence exerted by Bushra Bibi. The report further claims that some intelligence officials reportedly shared information with Bushra Bibi, which she then presented to Khan as insights gained through her spiritual guidance.

According to the magazine, these factors collectively affected decision-making and strengthened perceptions of unusual spiritual influence over governmental affairs.
