British-Pakistani boxer Amir Khan praises Pakistan Army’s role in promoting boxing

British-Pakistani boxer Amir Khan has said that the Pakistan Army can play a key role in organising boxing across the country.

Speaking to the media in Lahore, Khan said, “It has always been my dream to hold a major boxing event in Pakistan, and today that dream has come true.”

He added that the Pakistan Army played a significant role in making this mega event a success, and expressed his gratitude for their support.

Khan further stated that if talent is promoted properly, Pakistani boxers can earn recognition on the global stage.

“There is immense boxing talent in Pakistan that needs nurturing,” he said. “I am fully ready to help bring Pakistani boxing talent to the world.”

Amir Khan also said that young Pakistani boxers have the potential to make the country proud internationally.

He concluded by saying, “Pakistan should be proud of hosting such a spectacular sporting event, and I am very happy to be here.”
