BSEK Karachi announces Class IX Science Group results

KARACHI: The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has announced the results of the Class IX Science Group annual examinations, with 69.56 per cent of candidates who appeared passing all their papers, according to the board.

A total of 180,054 students registered for the examinations, of whom 177,923 appeared, while 2,131 remained absent.

Of those who appeared, 123,757 candidates passed all their papers, resulting in an overall pass rate of 69.56 per cent, the figures showed.

The pass rate was lower than the 78.26 per cent recorded in the Class IX Science Group in 2025, when 137,350 of the 175,511 candidates who appeared passed all their papers.

Students can check their results through the board’s official website at www.bsek.edu.pk.

BSEK Chairman Professor Musharaf Ali Rajput congratulated successful candidates and their parents, saying transparency in the preparation and announcement of results remained among the board’s top priorities.

He also extended his congratulations to students who passed all their papers.

The announcement comes as the board continues to publish examination updates and other academic information through its official website.

Students have been advised to use the board’s authorised online platform for their results and related announcements.

In September, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Shaheed Benazirabad announced the results of the intermediate annual examinations 2026, with the overall performance showing high pass rates in the pre-medical and pre-engineering groups.
