Bushra Bibi was poisoned in Bani Gala: Imran Khan

During a hearing of the £190 million settlement case at Rawalpindi’s Adiala jail, incarcerated former Prime Minister Imran Khan informed the court that his wife and former first lady, Bushra Bibi, was poisoned while in Bani Gala sub-jail.

Khan stated that Bushra Bibi had visible marks on her skin and tongue after the alleged poisoning inside.

Asking the court that if anything happened to his wife, Army chief should be held responsible, further claiming that members of an intelligence agency were controlling everything at his Bani Gala residence in Islamabad and Adiala jail in Rawalpindi. “I know who is behind it,”

Imran further requested the court to order Bushra’s medical examination by Dr. Asim of Shaukat Khanum Hospital, expressing distrust in the doctor who previously examined Bushra. He also urged for an inquiry into the alleged poisoning of Bushra. In response to the former premier’s plea, the court instructed Imran to submit a comprehensive application concerning the medical examination of the former first lady.
