Khawar Maneka is currently in custody, facing corruption charges. On September 25, the Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) arrested Khawar Farid Maneka,  on illegal construction charges in Lahore.

According to Klasra, Maneka’s decision to cooperate as an approver could lead to significant revelations about the inner workings of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman and his spouse Bushra Bibi.
