WANA: Sensitive revelations have emerged regarding the attack on Cadet College Wana, with security sources confirming that all the terrorists involved were Afghan citizens and that the operation was orchestrated from across the border.
According to officials, the attack was meticulously planned in Afghanistan, with the final order executed by Khawariji Noor Wali Mehsud. Throughout the operation, the attackers reportedly followed instructions received from Afghanistan.
The planning of the assault is attributed to Khawariji “Zahid,” while the responsibility for the attack was publicly claimed under the name “Jaish-ul-Hind” on the instructions of Khawariji Noor Wali Mehsud. Sources suggest this was done to divert attention from Fitna-ul- Khawarij Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), as Khawarijis repeatedly referenced “Jaish-ul-Hind” in a video recorded during the attack.
Security officials further revealed that the Afghan Taliban has been pressuring Fitna-ul-Khawarij not to reveal their true identity, amid increasing pressure from Pakistan and its allied nations. In the intercepted audio, the terrorists can be heard speaking in Urdu and repeatedly invoking “Jaish-ul-Hind” to obscure their actual affiliations.
All equipment used in the attack, including American-made weapons, was reportedly supplied from Afghanistan. Officials say the attack was intended to heighten security concerns in Pakistan, allegedly under directives from the Indian agency RAW.
Authorities have confirmed the identities of the Afghan terrorists killed in the attack, which has dispelled earlier uncertainties. Security operations under the National Action Plan and Azm-e-Istehqam are ongoing, with officials vowing to continue efforts until every terrorist involved is neutralised.
MASTERMINDS BEHIND ISLAMABAD SUICIDE BLAST ARRESTED
Meanwhile, the security agencies have also arrested the facilitator and handler linked to the recent suicide attack at the Islamabad Judicial Complex. Both suspects have reportedly been moved to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
Sources revealed that the facilitator had been residing in Rawalpindi for the past month and was apprehended from the Dhok Paracha area. The handler was detained in a separate operation conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
