Web Desk: Pakistan on Sunday achieved the top spot in the International Cricket Council (ICC) men’s ODI rankings following an impeccable performance against Afghanistan in a three-match series held in Sri Lanka.
Following the match, the team gathered in the dressing room to celebrate their collective success.
“We have become the number one team in the world due to our hard work. There were ups and downs but we stayed united and that has helped us claim the top spot,” said skipper Babar Azam while appreciating the team.
Babar further stated that a commendable quality within the team is that every player takes genuine delight in the success of their teammates, rather than being overly preoccupied with their own individual achievements.
