Cambridge to announce IGCSE, O/A level results on Aug 13

WEB DSES: Cambridge International Education will announce the results for the May-June Cambridge IGCSE, O Level, and International AS and A Level globally, including in Pakistan, on Tuesday, August 13.

The results will be announced at 10 AM Pakistani time and can be accessed on the official Cambridge website.

There were over 1.6 million entries for Cambridge’s international exams in May-June 2024, representing a 9 per cent increase compared to the previous year.

According to Jang news, more than 100,000 students from 683 schools participated in Cambridge O Level, IGCSE, or International AS and A Level exams.

There were over 226,000 entries for Cambridge O Levels and IGCSEs, and more than 125,000 entries for Cambridge International AS and A Level nationwide.

Among Cambridge O Level and IGCSE the most popular subjects in Pakistan were Pakistan Studies, Islamic Studies, Mathematics, English Language, and Urdu as a Second Language.

For Cambridge International AS and A Levels, the most popular subjects were Physics, Mathematics, Business, Chemistry, and Computer Science.

This year, Business surpassed Chemistry in popularity, and Computer Science entered the top five, replacing Economics.
