Camel found dead with all four legs amputated in Kunri, Sindh

KUNRI: In another instance of animal cruelty, a camel was discovered dead in Kunri, Sindh, with all its legs amputated. According to Geo News footage, the camel was found lying lifeless at Morjhango turn.

Abdul Rashid, the deceased camel’s owner, expressed to Geo News that he is unaware of who caused the camel to flee, abuse it, and amputate its legs. He stated, “We don’t know anything yet… we’ll decide what steps to take next.”

He also mentioned that he does not wish to accuse anyone at this point.

This marks the second incident of camel cruelty within a month. Earlier, a camel named Kemi had its leg amputated by a landowner, sparking widespread outrage. The incident took place on June 14 in the Mundh Jamrao area, where the camel had wandered into an agricultural field.

Reports indicate that the disturbing act came to light when videos of the camel’s leg being cut surfaced on social media, prompting swift action from provincial authorities.
