Chahat Fateh Ali Khan served with Rs180 million legal notice

WEB DESK: Social media star Chahat Fateh Ali Khan has received a Rs180 million legal notice for allegedly defaming legendary musician Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.

Mian Muhammad Umair Niaz, representing Qaiser Munir Khan, issued the notice, delivered to Chahat’s UK residence.

According to details, the failure to respond within 15 days could result in a defamation lawsuit. The notice accuses Chahat of falsely claiming kinship with Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, tarnishing his reputation, offending Faisalabad residents, and violating the Copyright Act through his singing, damaging Nusrat’s legacy.
