Formula 1 star Charles Leclerc and Alexandra Saint Mleux have officially tied the knot, confirming their marriage with a series of social media posts that caught fans by surprise.
The Ferrari driver revealed the couple said “I do” on February 28 in Monte Carlo, Monaco, sharing photos and videos from their intimate civil ceremony on Instagram.
“A day we’ll forever remember. Part one is done and part 2 will be next year with all of our close ones,” Leclerc captioned his post, which showed the newlyweds posing in a bright red vintage Ferrari alongside their dachshund, Leo.
Saint Mleux, now Alexandra Leclerc, also shared glimpses from the celebration, writing: “Dream. Can’t wait to marry you all over again next year x.”
Intimate Monaco ceremony revealed
According to Leclerc’s post, the low key civil wedding took place in Monte Carlo, with the couple planning a larger celebration with family and friends next year.
The surprise announcement quickly drew attention online, with fans reacting to the couple quietly making their relationship official.
Alexandra’s showstopping bridal look
The bride described her gown as her “absolute dream dress”, designed by Paolo Sebastian. The couture label said the look featured a French Chantilly lace fishtail silhouette with a scalloped neckline, detailed with three dimensional floral and butterfly embellishments, along with bespoke embroidered initials and the couple’s wedding date.
She completed the elegant look with jewellery by Graff, an updo styled by Laurie Zanoletti and makeup by Amalia Sarbut.
Family members attend the big day
Photos shared by the couple showed Leclerc’s brothers Arthur and Lorenzo present at the ceremony, along with their mother Pascale Leclerc. It remains unclear whether any fellow Formula 1 drivers attended.
Sweet personal touches steal the show
The civil ceremony featured white lily floral arrangements and what appeared to be baby’s breath. The couple’s multi layered wedding cake included a miniature topper of their dog Leo, complete with a tiny “bite” detail.
Leo, the pair’s dachshund, also attended the ceremony wearing a small black tuxedo.
Leclerc, one of Formula 1’s biggest current stars, has raced for Ferrari since 2019.
