CJP fines lawyer for misleading the court

CJ takes notice

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on a lawyer for misconduct and misleading the court during a property case hearing on Thursday.

The Chief Justice penalized the attorney for his actions, which resulted in the unnecessary consumption of the court’s time, instead of presenting pertinent documents as required.
“The lawyer attempted to deceive the court,” remarked the CJP.
