COAS hosts Iftar dinner for Pakistan cricket team

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir , hosted an Iftar Dinner for the Pakistan Cricket Team at Army House Rawalpindi on Tuesday.

According to a press release issued by Inter Services Public Relations, COAS conversed with the players and wished them success in their future endeavors.

The Pakistan Cricket Team underwent physical training at the Army School of Physical Training (ASPT) camp in Kakul, Abbottabad, which concluded recently.

Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, along with PCB officials, also attended the Iftar.

The cricketers expressed gratitude to COAS for the excellent training they received at Kakul and acknowledged the supportive role played by the Army in promoting sports in Pakistan.

Under the meticulous guidance of Pakistan Army trainers, 29 players dedicated themselves to refining their skills and enhancing team cohesion over the span of 12 intense days.
