Complete curfew announced in Wana for tomorrow

PESHAWAR: A complete curfew has been announced in Wana, South Waziristan, for December 8.

According to a notification issued by the district administration, the curfew will remain in place from 6am to 6pm in the Wana tehsil.

All kinds of movement will be strictly banned during the curfew, while all markets, bazaars and commercial centers in the affected areas will remain closed.

Entry into Wana will also be prohibited. Travel will only be allowed in emergency situations, and that too with permission from the police or security forces after submitting an ID card and required documents.

The district administration has urged citizens to fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies during the curfew.
