Rather than opting for conventional penalties such as fines or incarceration, Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate of Dadu, Irfanullah Phul, opted to impart a lesson aimed at rectifying the environmental harm caused by their actions. The offenders were mandated to plant a total of 150 new saplings as part of their punishment within the Katcha area.

The court directed each of the three convicts to plant 50 saplings individually within an 18-month timeframe, strategically spread across various locations within the Katcha locality.

Acknowledging the vital role trees play in sustaining life on Earth by providing oxygen and essential nutrition through fruits and vegetables, the decision underscores the importance of preserving our natural environment.
