Daughter of Senator Sherry Rehman passes away

Marvi Khurshid Malik, daughter of senior Pakistan Peoples Party leader and Senator Sherry Rehman, has passed away following a brief illness, party officials confirmed on Sunday.

According to the PPP Secretariat, the 35-year-old had suffered a brain hemorrhage several days ago and was receiving treatment at a private hospital. Her condition deteriorated during her stay, and she had been placed on a ventilator three days prior to her death.

Sherry Rehman confirmed the news of her daughter’s passing, expressing grief over the loss.

President Asif Ali Zardari extended his condolences to the bereaved family, expressing deep sorrow over the tragedy. He offered prayers for the departed soul, asking for forgiveness and an elevated rank in the hereafter, and prayed that the family be granted strength and patience to endure the loss.

The passing of Marvi Khurshid Malik has drawn condolences from political figures and well-wishers, who have expressed solidarity with the family during this difficult time.
