Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have welcomed their second daughter, sharing the happy news with their fans on social media.

The couple announced the arrival of their baby girl on Saturday, September 19, through a simple post featuring a picture of the newborn’s feet and the words “Welcome Baby Girl.” The announcement was signed by Deepika, Ranveer and their elder daughter, Dua.

The post quickly drew attention from fans, who flooded the couple’s social media accounts with congratulatory messages and good wishes for the newborn.

The newborn baby is the couple’s second child, while their first daughter, Dua, was born on September 8, 2024, according to The Times of India.

The couple had announced in April that they were expecting their second child. They later shared pictures from Deepika’s pregnancy journey, including images featuring Dua.

Temple visit before baby’s arrival

A day before the birth, Deepika and Ranveer visited Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple. Both were dressed in purple for the visit, The Times of India said.

The couple had also visited the same temple shortly before the birth of their first daughter, Dua.

Deepika and Ranveer married in 2018 in Lake Como, Italy. With the arrival of their second daughter, the couple’s family has grown to four members.
