Renowned Bollywood actress, Hema Malini, breaks her silence on rumors of family tension following the passing of her husband, legendary actor Dharmendra. The buzz has been growing on social media, fueled by speculation that the passing of Dharmendra, the iconic star of Bollywood, has caused cracks between his family members.

However, Hema Malini has assured fans that there’s no truth to the claims of resentment. “I don’t understand why people think there’s something wrong between us. We are all very close, very happy, and extremely supportive of one another,” she says, putting an end to the gossip once and for all.

The rumors began to swirl when the Deol family held separate prayer services after Dharmendra’s death. Hema Malini hosted one at her house, while Sunny and Bobby Deol – his sons from his first marriage – held another. Adding fuel to the fire, Hema and her daughters later organised a memorial service in Delhi. But according to Hema, this was nothing more than a personal, respectful choice. “Our lives are private, and I wish people wouldn’t exploit others’ grief for sensational news,” she adds, explaining her usual silence in the face of public speculation.

But all is not just about defending family ties. Hema also opened up about Dharmendra’s enduring legacy, confirming that his son, Sunny Deol, is planning to build a museum in his father’s honor. “Sunny tells me everything about his plans, and it’s clear that there’s nothing but love and respect between us all,” she shared.

When asked about watching Dharmendra’s final film, Hema became emotional. “I can’t watch it right now. It would be too much for me. Maybe later, when the heart heals a little,” she confessed, showing just how deep her connection to her late husband truly was.
