Deputy Chairman Planning Commission resigns from his position

WEB DESK: Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission, Jahanzeb Khan, resigned from his position on Friday.

The Prime Minister has accepted Jahanzeb Khan’s resignation, and Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has been assigned the additional role of Deputy Chairman of Planning.

According to the Hum Investigation Team (HIT), there were several issues between Deputy Chairman Khan and Minister Ahsan Iqbal concerning various matters.

According to details Ahsan Iqbal had previously communicated his concerns to the Prime Minister.

Jahanzeb Khan’s resignation is attributed to personal reasons, as stated by family sources.
