NAGPUR: New Zealand batsman Devon Mitchell has claimed the top position in the ICC One-Day International (ODI) batting rankings, surpassing India’s Virat Kohli, following a stellar performance against India.

In the ODI series played in India, New Zealand won 2-1, marking its first-ever ODI series victory on Indian soil.

Mitchell played a career-best 137 runs in the final match at Indore and accumulated a total of 352 runs in the series, earning him the Player of the Series award.
