DG ISPR highlights youth’s role in national defence

WEB DESK: Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry held a special interactive session with students at Government College University (GCU) Lahore, highlighting key national security milestones and celebrating the spirit of Pakistani youth on Friday.

During the session, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif shed light on the strategic dismantling of India’s Operation Sundoor and elaborated on Pakistan’s major success in Operation Bunyan Marsoos, referring to it as a defining moment of resilience and national unity. He especially lauded the passion, clarity of thought, and patriotism demonstrated by the youth during the campaign.

Students posed a range of questions, focusing on national and social issues, particularly those concerning security and Pakistan’s geopolitical challenges. The session concluded with students performing a heartfelt patriotic song in tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces, symbolising national solidarity.

GCU students praised the session and expressed a keen desire for similar interactions in the future.
