‘Divorced Sistas’ returns with new twist as Paramount+ picks up the drama

Divorced Sistas

Divorced Sistas is back, but its return comes with a notable shift that is already drawing attention as new episodes roll out on Paramount+.

The Tyler Perry-created drama resumed on April 15, marking the second half of its debut season with two episodes released at once, followed by weekly drops through late May.

Platform switch signals bigger push

Originally launched on BET+ in June 2025, the series has now moved to Paramount+, a transition that suggests a broader push to reach new audiences.

Created by Tyler Perry, the show follows five women in Atlanta navigating divorce, relationships and personal upheaval, with friendship at the centre of the story.

The midseason return continues from major cliffhangers, with unresolved tensions, betrayals and emotional fallout expected to drive the next stretch of episodes.

New episodes roll out weekly

The new instalment begins with a two-episode drop, before shifting to a weekly release schedule running through May 27, when the season is set to conclude.

The ensemble cast includes LeToya Luckett, Khadeen Indréa, Porscha Coleman, Briana Price and Jennifer Sears.

Storylines from the first half left several questions hanging, including strained marriages, revenge arcs and shifting alliances among the group.

While this run completes the first season, there has been no confirmation yet on whether the show will return for a second instalment.

With its mix of drama and emotional storytelling, Divorced Sistas is positioning itself as another key title in Tyler Perry’s expanding television slate.
