Donald Blome extends support for Pakistan’s democracy in meeting with PM Shehbaz

ISLAMABAD: On Saturday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with the Ambassador of the United States of America Donald Blome to Pakistan, expressing full support for Pakistan’s democracy.

They held discussions on economic reforms facilitated by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), along with addressing various other significant matters.

Both parties also explored avenues for collaboration to expedite initiatives aimed at combating climate change within the framework of the US-Pakistan Green Alliance.

The statement mentioned that the two individuals convened to address a wide array of bilateral matters, encompassing Pakistan’s collaboration in regional security, US backing for ongoing economic reforms via the International Monetary Fund, trade and investment, educational initiatives, climate change efforts, and fostering economic growth led by the private sector.
