Don’t call me stupid: Bride ditches groom three minutes into marriage

KUWAIT: A Kuwaiti bride filed for annulment of her marriage immediately after the wedding after her groom called her stupid.

According to the newspaper Okaz, the couple was leaving the court after the legal proceedings of the marriage were completed when the bride tripped over something and fell. Seeing this, the groom called her stupid.

The bride then promptly decided to file for annulment of the marriage.

This marriage is believed to have set a record for being the shortest in Kuwait’s history.
