“Don’t rush into marriage,” says Mawra Hocane, who waited seven years

KARACHI: Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane says she waited seven years for the right time to marry, revealing her thoughts during a fundraising dinner in Karachi for a cancer hospital.

During the event, Mawra was asked about her marriage plans. She advised unmarried women not to rush into marriage and to wait for the right moment.

Mawra said that as soon as she turned 25, her family began asking, “So, when are you getting married?”
However, despite the pressure, she waited seven years before making a decision.

Advising young women, she added that they should value themselves and choose a partner who respects them and their work, saying, “Life is truly worth cherishing.”
