Double hat-trick: Musa Khan makes history in Quaid-e-Azam Trophy

Islamabad Region fast bowler Mohammad Musa etched his name into the record books after delivering a rare double hat-trick in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2025–26.

The exceptional feat came during the tournament’s final round at the Diamond Cricket Ground in Islamabad, where Musa dismantled Peshawar’s batting lineup with four wickets in four consecutive deliveries.

Musa’s achievement is the first double hat-trick recorded in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in the past decade, highlighting the significance of his performance. The young pacer completed the milestone in the second innings, having already claimed a five-wicket haul in the first innings.

Powered by Musa’s brilliant spell, Islamabad secured a dominant victory over Peshawar by an innings and 77 runs, signing off their campaign on a high.

Meanwhile, Sialkot and Karachi Blue have already sealed their spots in the tournament’s final.
