BEIJING: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has arrived in Beijing along with Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal to participate in high-level meetings, the China Political Parties Forum, and the CPEC consultative mechanism.

During his visit, he will attend discussions where representatives from 12 Pakistani political parties, including the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, will also take part.

He said Pakistan and China’s B2B cooperation has grown significantly, with over 500 companies participating in ongoing engagements and the partnership volume exceeding $13 billion.

He said that more than 300 memorandums of understanding and dozens of joint ventures have already been finalized between the two countries, reflecting strong and expanding economic ties.

He added that China’s cooperation remains crucial for global trade, and despite recent external challenges, Pakistan’s economic indicators are showing a positive trend.

He further said Pakistan remains open for business and is continuing on a path of reforms and economic stability.
