Dr Fazeela Abbasi granted interim bail in illegal clinic case

ISLAMABAD: A court has granted interim bail to Dr Fazeela Abbasi in a case related to an alleged illegal clinic, while she continues to face a separate money laundering case.

Special Judge Central Humayun Dilawar heard the matter and approved her bail until April 15 against surety bonds of Rs50,000. The court also directed the accused to join the investigation.

Dr Abbasi is already on bail in an ongoing money laundering case registered by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). The FIA has filed two separate cases against her under anti-money laundering and anti-corruption laws.

The case is part of a broader crackdown by investigative authorities on alleged financial irregularities and unauthorised medical practices. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the matter.
