Dry weather likely in most parts of country: PMD

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted predominantly dry conditions across most regions of the country for the next 24 hours. However, northern areas are expected to experience cold weather.

As per the synoptic situation, continental air masses are prevailing over the majority of the country.

In the past 24 hours, there were reports of rain and thunderstorms, accompanied by snowfall in mountainous regions, particularly in Kashmir, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, upper Punjab, and Gilgit-Baltistan. Meanwhile, other parts of the country experienced dry weather.
