Dylan Sprouse dated Miley Cyrus? She finally breaks her silence

Miley Cyrus has finally confirmed one of Disney’s longest-running rumours, revealing she secretly dated Dylan Sprouse during their early days as child stars.

The singer made the surprise admission during Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special, where she reflected on her teenage years in the spotlight and the relationships that shaped them.

“Secretly, OK, Dylan Sprouse was my boyfriend. I think he was the cutest,” Cyrus said, putting years of speculation to rest. “It’s true, confirmed.”

The revelation quickly became one of the most talked-about moments from the special, with fans revisiting the early 2000s Disney era that launched both stars to fame.

Cyrus, 33, said she had a clear crush on Sprouse at the time, recalling how their connection extended beyond the screen.

“Their dad would take us to sushi. I was into the whole culture, and it was a two-for-one. Like, bring the brother,” she joked, referencing Dylan’s twin, Cole Sprouse.

The pair famously appeared together in the 2006 crossover event That’s So Suite Life of Hannah Montana, which united Hannah Montana, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and That’s So Raven in a major Disney Channel moment.

Sprouse had previously hinted at the relationship years earlier. During a 2008 interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, he said they had dated when they were around 11 or 12, but suggested it did not last after Nick Jonas entered the picture.

Cyrus has since reflected on her relationship with Jonas as well, saying they have both moved on.

“I like Nick. He’s married with children. We’re all moving on. Everything is good,” she said in a separate interview.

The confirmation adds to a wave of revelations from the anniversary special, which dives into Cyrus’ rise to fame and her life behind the scenes during the Disney Channel era.

Now engaged to musician Maxx Morando, Cyrus also spoke about finding a different kind of love as she moves into a new chapter of her life.
