ECP approves transfers and postings in KP bureaucracy

PESHAWAR: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has approved the transfers and postings of 25 officers in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) bureaucracy, including 15 secretaries in various departments.

The Establishment Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had sought permission from the ECP for the reshuffle of the officers.

According to a handout issued by the ECP, Dr Amber Ali has been appointed as the Secretary of Housing Department, Dr Imtiaz Hussain as the Secretary of Finance, and Zulfiqar Ali Shah as the Secretary of Industries.

Mahmood Hassan has been appointed as the Secretary of Excise & Taxation, Muhammad Idris as the Secretary of Communication & Works, Mohammad Zia-ul-Haq as the Secretary of Transport, and Anila Mahfooz Durani as the Secretary of Zakat and Ushr.

The ECP handout also stated that Arshad Khan has been appointed as the Secretary of Higher Education, Mohammad Israr as the Secretary of Livestock, Muhtar Zeb as the Secretary of Science & Technology, Mohammad Tahir Orakzai as the Secretary of Irrigation, Daud Khan as the Secretary of Local Government, Zareef-ul-Manni as the Secretary of Food, Anayatullah as the Secretary of Relief, and Naseer Ahmed as the Secretary of Energy.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Ayaz, Ammar Afaq, and Rashid Khan have been directed to report to the Establishment Division.
