EDC Las Vegas is getting a dramatic shake-up in 2027, with organisers unveiling a new 12-day ‘Dusk Till Dawn’ format that will split the festival across two weekends while promising a less crowded and potentially more affordable experience for fans.
Instead of its usual single-weekend setup, EDC Las Vegas 2027 will unfold across two separate festival weekends at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The first weekend, EDC Dusk, will run from May 14 to May 16, while EDC Dawn is scheduled for May 21 to May 23. Fans who want the full experience can opt for the ‘Dusk Till Dawn Experience’, which stretches from May 13 to May 24 and includes additional EDC-themed events across Las Vegas between festival weekends.
But the biggest change may not simply be the festival’s new length.
According to organisers, EDC 2027 will operate with a lower capacity across both weekends, a move designed to reduce congestion, create more space on dance floors and improve movement between stages. The changes are also expected to ease pressure on travel, hotels and traffic across Las Vegas during the event.
Affordability is another major focus of the overhaul.
Local Las Vegas reports said Insomniac founder Pasquale Rotella indicated ticket prices would move closer to what fans paid nearly a decade ago in an effort to make the experience more accessible for both longtime attendees and newcomers.
Tickets for EDC 2027 go on sale on Friday, May 22, at 12 p.m. PT. One-weekend general admission passes will start at $399.99, while two-weekend GA passes will begin at $599.99. VIP tickets will range from $899.99 for one weekend to $1,699.99 for access across both weekends. Layaway plans will also be available.
Rotella described the new concept as “the next evolution of EDC”, saying organisers wanted to create a more immersive experience while giving Headliners the flexibility to attend one weekend or both.
“We wanted to reimagine EDC as a new type of immersive journey across 12 days and two consecutive weekend celebrations in one city we love,” he said in a statement.
The announcement comes after EDC Las Vegas 2026 sold out and welcomed hundreds of thousands of attendees to celebrate 30 years Under the Electric Sky. More than 450 artists performed across the festival, including Martin Garrix, Tiësto, Peggy Gou, FISHER, Charlotte de Witte, The Prodigy and Kaskade.
Further details on the 2027 lineup, camping, Hotel EDC and citywide events are expected to be announced at a later date.
