Election Commission of Pakistan extends date for voter registration

ISLAMABAD: In a recent development, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), under the leadership of Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja, has announced an extension in the date for voter registration and corrections in electoral rolls.

The ECP spokesperson revealed that the date for voter registration and the transfer of votes in electoral rolls has been extended until October 28. The earlier deadline for the correction of data in the electoral rolls had been set for October 25.

This extension provides eligible voters with additional time to ensure that their information is accurately reflected in the electoral rolls, allowing them to exercise their democratic rights effectively in upcoming elections.
