Emergency services respond as fire erupts at plaza in I-8 Markaz

WEB DESK: A fire broke out at a plaza in Islamabad’s I-8 Markaz, triggering an emergency response from rescue teams and police, according to sources.

Rescue personnel quickly reached the site and launched firefighting operations as thick smoke from the blaze spread across the area.

According to the initial reports, no casualties have been reported so far.

The district administration said the fire has been brought under control by the fire brigade, while cooling operations are underway.

The cause of the fire is being determined, the administration added.

The rescue operation was supervised by the Assistant Commissioner Industrial Area.
