England opt to bowl first in second ODI against South Africa

LONDON: In the second match of the South Africa vs England ODI series, the hosts won the toss and elected to field at Lord’s on Thursday.

Harry Brook is leading England, with the hosts handing starts to Jamie Smith, Ben Duckett and Joe Root at the top, while Jos Buttler takes the gloves.

Jacob Bethell, Will Jacks, Brydon Carse, Jofra Archer, Adil Rashid and Saqib Mahmood complete the playing XI.

South Africa, captained by Temba Bavuma, will open with Aiden Markram and Ryan Rickelton. Matthew Breetzke, Tristan Stubbs and Dewald Brevis bolster the middle order, alongside all-rounder Senuran Muthusamy.
