Esha Deol says father Dharmendra is “stable and recovering”

Actor Dharmendra is reportedly stable and recovering, his daughter Esha Deol has confirmed, shutting down widespread rumours of his death.

In an Instagram post, Esha expressed frustration at the circulating reports, saying, “The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for Papa’s speedy recovery.”

The confusion began on the night of November 10th when reports of Dharmendra’s death spread rapidly across Twitter and other social media platforms. Panic intensified when several Bollywood personalities, including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ameesha Patel, Aryan Khan, and Riteish Deshmukh, were seen at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. Their presence sparked concerns among fans and fuelled speculation about the veteran actor’s condition.

Responding to the growing chaos, Team Sunny Deol released an official statement, saying, “Mr Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as available. Kindly do not indulge in spreading false rumours regarding his health.”

Social media posts claiming the actor had passed away, some with captions like “End of an era,” circulated widely, creating confusion among fans. Several media platforms also repeated the unverified news, adding to the uncertainty.

The family has requested that the public respect their privacy during this time and continue to pray for Dharmendra’s speedy recovery.
