WEB DESK: The family of Shahnaz, a woman linked to the banned outfit Fitna Al Hindustan, has announced a complete dissociation from her, stating they have had no contact with her for nearly 12 years.

Addressing a press conference at the Turbat Press Club, Shahnaz’s mother Rukhsana, along with her grandfather and maternal uncle, categorically distanced themselves from her statements, actions, and activities, according to Radio Pakistan.

They clarified that Shahnaz had left for Oman at a very young age and the family had lost all contact with her approximately twelve years ago.

The family members stressed that they had no involvement whatsoever in any of her affairs. “We are peaceful Pakistani citizens and have always respected the law and state institutions,” they emphasised, adding that they fully support action against anyone involved in terrorism or anti-state activities.

The development comes amid heightened scrutiny of individuals associated with Fitna Al Hindustan, a group accused of fomenting unrest and terrorism.
