Fawad Chaudhry meets with Maulana Fazl

ISLAMABAD: Former Federal Minister, Fawad Chaudhry, met with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief, Maulana Fazl ur Rehman at his residence on Friday.
The former minister later stated that the meeting would add more ‘colours’ to Pakistani politics.

The two leaders discussed the current political situation in the fragile country. Fawad described Maulana Fazl as a politician with ‘valuable’ insights, especially regarding Afghanistan. He noted that meetings with Rehman often run long due to the ‘depth’ of their discussions.
Fawad Chaudhry announced that a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) delegation will also meet with the JUI-F chief on Monday. He stated that such a meeting was extremely important within the current tense political landscape.
The PTI delegation also reportedly invited Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl to a consultative meeting in Islmababad. The meeting was rogansied by the Chief Minsiter ,Ali Amin Gandapur. It will focusprimairlyy on terrorism.

A PTI spokesperson confirmed that the JUI-F leaders, including Deputy Ameer, Laiquat Baloch, will attend. Professor Ibrahim, Abdul Wasi and Inayatullah were also expected to participate.
