Fazlur Rehman to visit Kabul tomorrow

ISLAMABD: Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman is scheduled to visit Kabul, Afghanistan tomorrow at the invitation of the Afghan government. Accompanying him will be former MNA of Upper South Waziristan, Maulana Jamaluddin Mehsud.

The agenda for the visit encompasses discussions on various aspects of Pak-Afghan relations and other regional issues. Maulana Fazlur Rahman will also meet with the Taliban supreme leader, Hibatullah Akhundzad, in Kandahar, where they are expected to engage in meaningful conversations.

The talks are anticipated to cover a range of topics, including banned militant Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and other pertinent issues of mutual concern. The visit holds the promise of fostering dialogue and understanding between the leadership of both nations.
