Federal educational institutions to remain closed for spring break

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has announced spring holidays for educational institutions operating under the Federal Directorate of Education in Islamabad, according to an official notification.

Under the notification, all federal government schools and colleges will remain closed from March 24 to March 27, and will reopen on March 30 after the break.

Authorities said the spring holidays have been aligned with the upcoming Eid al-Fitr holidays, allowing students and staff to enjoy an extended break during the festive period.

The decision applies to all educational institutions administered by the federal government in Islamabad, including schools and colleges under the Federal Directorate of Education.

Officials said the move is aimed at facilitating students and teachers by combining the spring break with the Eid holidays.
