Federal govt revises petrol, diesel prices for Thursday

WEB DESK: The federal government has revised the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel for Thursday, with the new rates taking effect immediately.

According to the latest notification, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs0.94 per litre, bringing the new price to Rs324.98 per litre.

Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel has been increased by Rs0.54 per litre, taking its new price to Rs382.79 per litre.

The revised fuel prices were announced after the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) sent its recommendations to the federal government.

The new rates will remain applicable until the next price revision is announced tomorrow by the government.
