Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir reaffirms Pakistan’s unshakable support for Kashmir

MUZAFFARABAD: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) of Pakistan, reaffirmed the country’s unwavering moral and political support for the Kashmiri people during his visit to Muzaffarabad.

The visit, filled with reflection and solidarity, was a clear message of Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to Kashmir’s struggle for freedom.

Field Marshal Munir was warmly welcomed by Corps Commander Rawalpindi and senior military officials. His visit centered on honoring the martyrs of Kashmir who have sacrificed their lives for self-determination. At the Martyrs’ Memorial of Jammu and Kashmir, he laid a floral wreath, symbolizing deep respect for the sacrifices made by the Kashmiris.

In his statement, Field Marshal Munir emphasized that Pakistan’s support for Kashmir would never waver, despite ongoing challenges and Indian atrocities. He affirmed that the indomitable will of the Kashmiri people would not be suppressed. “Their struggle for freedom will continue, and so will our support,” he stated.

Field Marshal Munir also expressed confidence that Kashmir would soon witness freedom, echoing the hopes of millions of Kashmiris. He reaffirmed that Pakistan would continue to raise the Kashmir issue on every international forum, pushing for a just resolution in line with United Nations resolutions.

The visit ended with a strong reaffirmation of Pakistan’s commitment to the Kashmir cause, underscoring that Pakistan’s support for the people of Kashmir would remain unshaken as long as their fight for self-determination continues.
