Food delivery boy shot dead in Karachi

KARACHI: Unidentified gunmen shot dead an online food delivery boy near Karachi University on Thursday.

According to details, armed men ambushed the youth outside the staff gate PSO pump in Mobina Town police station jurisdiction.

As a result of the firing, 22-year-old Muhammad Waqas Hanif s/o Muhammad Hanif was killed on the spot and attackers sped the scene.

The deceased hailing from Al-Mashriq Society Gulzar Hijri was only brother of three sisters.

The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for postmortem.

Police said that the attackers had not looted anything from the killed youth which reveals that it was not robbery but seems to be the outcome of personal enmity.

A case was registered into the incident and police have started an investigation.
