WEB DESK: Former England footballer and manager Kevin Keegan has died at the age of 75, according to a report by Sky News.

A statement from his family confirmed his death, saying, “It is with immense sadness that we announce that Kevin Keegan has passed away at the age of 75.”

The family said Keegan had been battling cancer and was surrounded by his wife and daughters in his final moments.

“Kevin, a two-time Ballon d’Or winner, was a much-loved husband, father and grandfather,” the statement said, while thanking his medical team for their support.

The family added that it was “a hugely difficult time” and requested privacy as they grieve their loss.
