Forza Horizon 6 release date nears: Premium upgrade players to get early access

TOKYO: The release date of Forza Horizon 6 is approaching, with premium edition players set to receive early access as early as Friday. However, fans using standard versions are still awaiting confirmation of the official global launch schedule.

According to the official website of the gaming company, Forza Horizon 6 is the latest entry in the Forza Horizon open-world racing series.

Developed by Playground Games and published by Xbox Game Studios, the game offers an open-world driving experience set in Japan, featuring a detailed map with cities, mountain roads, countryside landscapes, and highways inspired by real Japanese locations.

The game’s Horizon Festival edition is also expected to include more than 550 cars, making it one of the largest car rosters in the series.

The game will be kicked off on May 19, 2026, according to the official website.

In addition, the new title will feature cross-play and full cross-save support across platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

The game was first announced during the 2025 Tokyo Game Show on September 25, 2025, generating global interest among racing game fans worldwide.
