Four killed, nine injured in separate road accidents in Dir district

PEHSWAR: At least four people were killed and nine injured in two separate road accidents in Dir district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, rescue officials said.

In the first incident, two young men were killed and two others injured during a collision between two motorcycles and a car in the Mandah area of Lower Dir district, rescue sources said. The injured victims were shifted to a nearby hospital.

In a separate accident in Upper Dir district’s Qila Ganori area, a Datsun vehicle plunged into a deep ravine, killing two people, including a woman, and injuring seven others, police and rescue officials said.

The injured were moved to nearby hospitals for treatment, while authorities said investigations into the accidents were under way.
