Free zoo visits for Lahore schools children

LAHORE: Government school children in Lahore will soon have the opportunity for a free visit to the city’s zoo, following a decision made during a meeting chaired by Commissioner Lahore and attended by the Secretary of Forest Punjab.

During the meeting, it was agreed that students would be taken on educational tours to the zoo. Government buses will be deployed to transport school children from their respective schools to the zoo in the morning and return them to school after the outing.

Renovation on the cards for Lahore zoo and Safari Park

The initiative will begin with primary school children in its initial phase, and senior teachers will accompany the students during their visit. The transportation of children will take place during regular school hours.

To coordinate and facilitate this program, the District Administration Lahore and the CE Education Authority Lahore have been designated as the focal persons.

Additionally, the zoo management will make arrangements for special guides to enhance the educational experience of the young visitors during their zoo tours.
