Funeral prayer of martyred officers, soldiers offered

ISLAMABAD: The funeral prayer of Major Mian Abdullah Shah, who was martyred during an operation in Khyber district, and Naib Subedar Sahib, Naik Muhammad Ibrahim and Sepoy Jahangir Khan, who were martyred in a suicide blast in North Waziristan on Wednesday, was offered with military honour.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the funeral prayer for the martyred officer and the soldiers was held in their respective ancestral areas.

“The solemn ceremonies were attended by a significant number of people, including serving and retired military officers, as well as their loved ones,” the ISPR said.
