RAWALPINDI: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur held consultation with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan in Adiala jail. The discussions primarily revolved around the formation of the provincial cabinet.

Sources familiar with the meeting revealed that the two leaders deliberated on the political landscape of KP and the ongoing legal matters. Gandapur briefed the PTI founder on the forthcoming strategy for the province.

Addressing reporters outside Adiala jail, Gandapur urged the chief justice to establish a commission to investigate the May 9 events.

He emphasized that decisions regarding any reconciliation with the establishment would be made by Imran Khan.

Reaffirming PTI’s commitment to the rule of law, Gandapur stated that they would continue working in line with their ideological principles and put in place a law to prevent ‘mandate theft’ in the future.

Gandapur further emphasized that Imran Khan’s struggle is for the future generations of Pakistan, underlining that the nation’s destiny belongs to its youths.
