Gaza March Karachi: JI chief urges Muslim countries to unite against Israel

KARACHI: The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman on Sunday urged the Muslim world to unite against Israel.

The JI leader, addressing the Gaza Million March in Karachi, highlighted the global demand for peace in Palestine. Pointing to the large turnout, he emphasized Karachi’s consistent support for Gaza.

“Thousands of Palestinians have been martyred in the brutality,” said the JI chief, adding that Israel is also attacking refugee camps. He continued by stating that America is backing Israel. He said that only a resolution passed by the UN can bring about change.

Naeem said that the Palestinian people are not ready to lay down their arms, not a single Palestinian says we accept defeat.
